blender tutorial how to apply normal maps cycles

this time we'll see how to apply a normal map in blender with cycles render
i will apply a rock texture for this exemple

i already have the normal map i just need to apply it
select the mesh you want to apply the normal map and go to materials and add a new one, then click next to color and select image texture, click open and select the color texture
this is the color and normal maps i will use

once we have added the color image we move to compositing window ,click on material button to see the nodes
in nodes window add a mix shader and place it between diffuse and material output
add/shader/glossy shader and connect it to mix shader ,drop down the FAC option in the mix shader node,

then we need to add a texture coordinate node,go to add/input/texture coordinate then click add/texture/image texture and connect texture coordinate from uv to image texture and click open and select the normal map texture,
now that we have added the normal map texture click add/vector/normal map, by doing this we add a normal map node, connect the texture node to normal map node
on texture node set to non color data ,on normal map node select uvmap ,
once we have done this we only need to connect normal map node to diffuse and glossy shaders ,as shown below.

thats all, now we have applied a normal map with cycles.
